Spatial Planning
The first and arguably the most important part of any renovation/new build, we find spatial planning to be one of the most rewarding parts of the design process.
A hard-working layout is key to an optimally functioning space that flows effortlessly and just feels right. We can help you enhance your floor plan as a standalone service or in conjunction with our other design/decoration services.
Our spatial planning service is priced at an hourly rate of $150 inc. GST per hour (minimum 4 hours). We can work from your existing floor plans and photographs, or visit your home to measure and draw up plans if required.

Art, Furniture & Object Curation
Art, furniture and object curation is a comprehensive service where we inject your space with character, personality and style.
Through a detailed design process, we prepare moodboards which articulate our vision; specify colours, furniture, art and objects and prepare a detailed budget and specifications for procurement.
This service can be undertaken in hourly blocks (minimum 4 hours priced at $600 inc. GST; additional hours charged at $150/hour) for top-level design advice which typically includes a moodboard, colour recommendations and furniture suggestions.

Full-Service Interior Design
Full service interior design is a complete end-to-end design package, whether your project is a new build or a renovation. Studio Hope will oversee every aspect of the project, from the initial concept through to installation.
We liaise with architects and contractors throughout the project to ensure the design is integrated and realised to a meticulous standard.

Designing private homes is a highly personal experience and we want to make sure we’re the best fit for you. Contact us to arrange a complimentary meet and greet phone call to discuss your project and what you would like to achieve, budget and timings, after which we will prepare a detailed quote for you.

Following quote approval, we will arrange an initial in-home consultation with you. This is an important session for us to understand the existing interior conditions and architecture, daylight, outlook and any existing furniture and art which you would like to retain, while we get to know you and any other key inhabitants. This meeting will drive the Client Brief which is an important document for us to refer back to throughout the project.
The Client Brief details key functional requirements, project scope, any style preferences, budget and timings. The brief serves as the cornerstone of the project, ensuring the essential information is captured prior to commencement of the design stages.

This is the exciting part of the process where it all starts to come to life. Armed with our detailed brief, we will prepare concept moodboards, preliminary layouts and suggestive materials and finishes to help you envision the aesthetic direction for your project.

After approval of the concept direction, we will move into design development for each of the areas within the project scope. This will include finalising the layout of each space, selecting materials and finishes, furniture and art which are presented through design drawings and renders.

We prepare detailed design drawings and schedules for construction and procurement. These may include detailed joinery/millwork drawings (for kitchens, bathrooms, laundries, wardrobes and cabinetry); furniture, fixtures and finishes schedules (such as tapware, paint colours, wallpaper, window dressings, flooring etc); art and object curation and lighting and electrical plans.

We will liaise directly with suppliers, artists and makers to procure art and objects, fixtures, fittings and furniture for your project. By using our procurement service, you will be able to access trade pricing, helping your implementation budget go further.

During the construction stage, we attend regular site visits with contractors to ensure the design intent is maintained. Please note, we do not manage trades.
Once the contractors’ work is complete, we can assist with furniture and artwork placement and styling to ensure your completed project sings.
